An honor guard in Denver was seeking a better way to commemorate veterans at their graveside ceremonies. They forged a half-ton bronze bell that incorporated donated medals and artifacts from every conflict since World II in the casting.
Stationed at Ft. Logan National Cemetery with its own articulated vehicle and Honor Bell Court, the bell can now be moved and tolled at public ceremonies and funeral rites throughout the area.
The Honor Bell Foundation also has plans for expansion to other states.
